ISOSCELES
A Solana launchpad where every trade feeds back into the ecosystem. Automated buybacks. Staking rewards. Transparent fees. The loop never stops.
Whitepaper v1.0 · September 2026 · Solana Mainnet
Abstract
Isosceles is a token launchpad on Solana designed around one principle: every action in the ecosystem should feed back into it.
When a token launches on Isosceles, trading begins immediately. Every trade generates a small fee. Those fees are split automatically between four destinations: buybacks of the launched token, staking rewards for holders, a protocol treasury, and the token creator. This creates a self-reinforcing loop where activity breeds value, and value breeds more activity.
There is no manual intervention. No promises of future action. The contracts execute the loop on every trade, every time, transparently on-chain.
The Problem
The current Solana token launch landscape has a structural problem. Tokens launch, generate initial excitement, and then have no mechanism to sustain themselves. The economics are one-directional: value flows out and never comes back.
What goes wrong
No value return. Trading fees on most launchpads go entirely to the platform or liquidity providers. The token and its community see none of it.
No incentive to hold. Without staking or buyback mechanics, holders have no reason to stay. The rational move is always to sell early.
Creator misalignment. Creators get their allocation at launch and have no ongoing stake in the token's health. Their incentives end the moment liquidity is added.
Black box fees. Where fees go, how much is collected, and what happens with the money — these are opaque on most platforms. Communities have to trust, not verify.
The result is predictable. Most launched tokens follow the same arc: hype, spike, dump, abandon. The launch infrastructure itself contributes to this pattern by extracting value instead of circulating it.
The Isosceles Solution
Isosceles rebuilds the launchpad around a closed-loop economic model. Instead of fees disappearing into a platform treasury, they are programmatically redistributed back into the token ecosystem through four channels:
Buybacks — a portion of every trading fee is used to buy back the launched token from the open market and remove it from circulation. This creates consistent buy pressure that scales with trading volume.
Staking rewards — another portion goes directly to holders who stake their tokens. This rewards long-term participation and reduces sell pressure.
Treasury — a share funds ongoing development, marketing, and community initiatives. The treasury is on-chain and auditable.
Creator revenue — the token creator receives an ongoing share of trading fees, aligning their incentives with the token's long-term success rather than its launch-day price.
The creator sets these percentages at launch. Once set, the split is enforced by the smart contract — not by a team's promise.
The Isosceles Loop
Five stages, one cycle. Every completed loop strengthens the next one.
Why “Isosceles”? An isosceles triangle has two equal sides. The name reflects the platform's core design: balanced economics where participants and creators share equally in the value they generate together. Symmetry as a first principle.
Fee Structure & Tokenomics
Trading fee
Every token launched on Isosceles carries a trading fee between 0.5% and 5%, set by the creator at launch. This fee is applied to every buy and sell transaction. The default is 1%.
Fee allocation
The trading fee is split four ways. The creator chooses the exact percentages, with the constraint that they must total 100%. The default split:
Token creation
Isosceles creates standard SPL tokens on Solana. The creator defines the token name, ticker, total supply, and decimals. The full supply is minted to the creator's wallet at launch. There are no hidden allocations, no team tokens, and no vesting schedules imposed by the platform.
| Parameter | Default | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Total Supply | 1,000,000,000 | Any positive integer |
| Decimals | 9 | 0 – 9 |
| Trading Fee | 1% | 0.5% – 5% |
| Buyback Allocation | 30% | 0% – 100% |
| Staking Allocation | 30% | 0% – 100% |
| Treasury Allocation | 20% | 0% – 100% |
| Creator Allocation | 20% | 0% – 100% |
Buyback Mechanism
The buyback allocation from each trade accumulates in a program-controlled vault. When the vault reaches a threshold, a buyback is executed automatically: the accumulated SOL is used to purchase the token on the open market, and the purchased tokens are permanently removed from circulation.
How it works
Accumulation. As trades occur, the buyback share of each fee is deposited into a token-specific vault account controlled by the Isosceles program. No person or team controls these funds.
Execution. Once the vault balance exceeds the minimum threshold, anyone can trigger the buyback instruction. The program swaps the vault's SOL for the token through the existing liquidity pool, ensuring market-rate execution.
Burn. The purchased tokens are sent to a dead address, permanently reducing circulating supply. The burn transaction is recorded on-chain.
Buybacks are proportional to trading volume. A token with more activity generates larger, more frequent buybacks. The mechanism rewards tokens that build real communities and real usage.
Staking
Staking on Isosceles is not inflationary. Rewards come from real trading fees, not from minting new tokens. This means staking yields are directly tied to platform activity — not to an unsustainable emission schedule.
Mechanics
Each launched token can have an associated staking pool. Holders deposit their tokens into the pool and earn a proportional share of the staking allocation from every trade. Rewards accrue continuously and can be claimed at any time.
No lock-ups. Stakers can withdraw at any time. The protocol does not impose mandatory lock periods.
Real yield. If a token generates $1,000 in daily trading fees with a 30% staking allocation, $300 per day is distributed to stakers. A holder with 1% of the staked supply receives $3 per day. The yield is real, verifiable, and sourced entirely from economic activity.
Technical Architecture
Smart contracts
Isosceles runs on Solana using programs written in Anchor (Rust). The protocol consists of five core programs:
Launch Program — handles token creation, initial liquidity provisioning, and fee parameter storage.
Fee Controller — intercepts trading fees and routes them to the correct vaults according to the token's configured allocation percentages.
Buyback Program — manages buyback vaults, threshold monitoring, and market-order execution through integrated DEX liquidity.
Staking Program — handles deposits, withdrawals, reward accumulation, and claim distribution for each token's staking pool.
Treasury Program — manages protocol-level and token-level treasury accounts with governance-controlled disbursement.
Frontend
The web application is built with Next.js and TypeScript. Wallet integration uses the Solana Wallet Adapter standard, supporting Phantom, Solflare, and all compatible wallets. All transactions are constructed client-side and signed by the user's wallet — the application never handles private keys.
Indexer
An on-chain event indexer monitors Solana for Isosceles-related transactions. It processes events idempotently, handles RPC failures with automatic retry, and stores event data for the API layer.
Security
No custody. The protocol never holds user funds in accounts controlled by a team wallet. All vaults are program-derived addresses governed by smart contract logic.
No private keys. The application never sees, stores, or transmits private keys or seed phrases. All signing happens in the user's wallet.
Input validation. All API inputs are validated server-side: wallet addresses are verified, token parameters are range-checked, and text inputs are sanitized.
Audit plan. Before mainnet deployment of smart contracts, all programs will undergo a third-party security audit. Results will be published publicly.
Roadmap
The Principle
Most launchpads treat the launch as the finish line. Isosceles treats it as the starting gun. The platform is built around a single conviction: tokens that return value to their holders will outlast tokens that don't.
The Isosceles loop is not a marketing concept. It is a set of smart contracts that execute on every trade, moving real fees into real buybacks and real staking rewards, with no human in the middle and no promise to keep.
Symmetry is not a slogan. It is an architecture.
